Play in a Parent and Toddler Group

Play in a Parent and Toddler Group

Children are born ready, able and eager to learn. They actively reach out to interact with other people and the world around them.

However, development is not an automatic process. It depends on babies and children having the opportunity to interact in positive relationship and enabling environments.

Babies and children will develop all the skills needed through play.

Play itself has a defined route where children will firstly play on their own before playing alongside other children until finally playing with other children.

At a Parent and Toddler Group children will have access to a variety of learning opportunities.

  • Access to a wide range of play activities.
  • Interaction with a trusted adult.
  • New interactions with other children and adults.

Play is a child’s work from which they will develop and grow.
